SocialSpark Live

There’s a new service available to bloggers and it’s calledSocialSpark. Being a member of PayPerPost, I was invited into the beta testing a new service called SocialSpark was developed by the folks over at IZEA. The service is now live and in in inaugural fashion, SocialSpark is sponsoring this post to get the word out.

SocialSpark is a Social Marketing Network that connects advertisers and bloggers through an online advertising marketplace. Advertisers are able to target blogs based on conversational topics and make cash sponsorship offers to the bloggers who publish them. Bloggers can make money by either placing display advertisements on their blog or by writing sponsored content. The sponsorships offered through the SocialSpark marketplace allow advertisers to build buzz, generate traffic and maximize social media exposure.

Profile creation is pretty straightforward and once you’ve done that you can really tweak your blog info to help match it with sponsor opportunities that range from ad spots to sponsored posts. Here’s a sample of what a profile page looks like. Yeah, that’s my profile and an unabashed blatant link for it ;) What other profile would I link too?

SocialSpark is an entire community within itself taking many of the best features from similar products in the blogosphere. You get the social aspect like MyBlogLog, where you get to interact with other bloggers and hopefully find some great blogs. You get an easy to use opportunity listing from advertisers looking for blogs to match their content with. You also get to rate other posts creating a buzz for those blogs. All in all, it seems like a really cool service that has taken many great features and rolled them into one.
